Got this great present in my inbox today from Silvina. ^_^

So first off there is a sale going on at Drivethru Comics for the holidays. Now would be the perfect time to pick up a copy of one of the books or hell, all of them.
Book 3 of Dead Future should be showing up this week as well.
Also you can pickup printed copies of Dead Future 1-3 at Indyplanet, as well as Grim Furry Tales: Seeds (which will soon be retired).

So the reason I am retiring the GFT: Seeds book is because I am revising it. I am also getting ready to launch the new GFT series with the talented Silvina. 2010 should be a good year for GFT and much more. You can find updated information for GFT over on the Grim Furry Tales Facebook Page. I’ve been posting a lot of concept artwork there for the new series as well as the promise to share the first page once it hits 50 people. I think our current number is 37. Sure small goal, but it is just a stepping stone. Pass the word around. There is a lot more in store for GFT as 2010 unfolds.
In other news it looks like two more of my scripts are well on there way to being published in future issues of Dead Future next year. One deals with a Werewolf and a supposed cure, ends up full of zombies. The second of which is an extremely over the top story featuring an undead nun named Sister Z. I really enjoyed writing the both of these and can’t wait to see them come to life so I can share them with you.
Son of the Raven is moving slowly along, the original 8 page preview for Disconnected over at Octane Comics was rewritten for 12 pages and will be a stand alone preview. The plan is to use the preview to shop around.
I also signed on for a Zuda contest entry. The original artist who came up with the idea of entering the contest backed out after only a few weeks and not much work. Silvina though has stepped up to the plate ready to conquer this thing. She is sure we will get in. It is based off an old story concept I worked on with Arturis back in the day for a video game. Wish us luck.
On top of this I am hoping to start on another project, I don’t want to get into details over it until I am sure it is a go. The project has two different stories I can take on, while I’d like to tackle both I may just focus on one and let someone else take a pass at the other. It will be my first true collaboration since the old days and I am a bit nervous as most of those ended in disaster. I think the key here is no prior relationship, this is just work based. Hopefully they are as motivated as I am. Of course I call that my first collaboration, but then again the new Zuda entry project is a collaboration. I have given Silvina half stake in it all.
George and Wallis from my stories I have written are making their first published debut this month in Dead Future #3. What started as a fun adventure I was writing to entertain myself and friends developed into a huge bizarre world full of rich characters. I hope to bring more of it to life in the future. I could see me writing an ongoing series based on the exploits of George, Wallis, and Ed.
Lastly this will be my final month living in Florida. The family and I are gearing up to head to Maryland. We are all excited and look forward to theĀ opportunitiesĀ ahead. I am sure there is more I could say, but I never make notes before I write these posts and end up losing track half way through. Anyways, happy holidays to you all, even you JW bastards.

That is right, your stuffed furry friends are coming back with a new series. Here is some concept work which I have been sharing on Twitter and the GFT Facebook Page. The artwork is by Silvina Rinaldi, she will be taking on the visual duties for the series.
