Sorry Folks

There will be no updates for the next few weeks. I am out doing the wedding thing and all thing it involves. Hopefully over the next few months we will have some type of schedule to adhere to. Looking forward to my return as I should have a inbox full of awesome art for GFT: Seeds.

Later all,
Martin

Bloody Bones

It was a cool night, the summer sun had just set. I was sitting on the porch in a very small town in the middle of nowhere. Must have been about seven or eight at the time, my aunt, who was a few years younger sat next to me. My Grandpa sat there telling us a story, something he excelled at, most were comical. This one though, this was one he saved for when we went out to the mountains, to his home town. There he told us the story of Raw Head and Bloody Bones.

This story never left me, it terrified me, it fascinated me. This was part of my gateway into the supernatural, something beyond what they taught us in school, taught as in Sunday school even. It lead me to books by Stephen King and Clive Barker, both of whom can mix fantasy and horror with little effort. After all the stories of my childhood all had a small bit of horror mixed into them for good measure. How else would children stay safe if they were not afraid of the dark?
Anyways in our upcoming book, I decided to include a portion with Bloody Bones. Some might think it is a bit too dark for younger audience, but I disagree, after all I was pretty young myself when first introduced. The artist working on this story has blown my mind with ever new piece he shows me, and I have decided to share a preview of one of them with you. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

How he brought his all together is amazing as well, and hopefully when it’s all finished we will be able to get more into that as well. After all I am a big sucker for behind the scenes stuff.
